This year’s Summer School will take place in August 2025 and will again focus on the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, with an emphasis on conflict research and International law. Key topics include reactions of international actors, peace processes, dealing with war crimes and reconstruction.

The program is not only aimed at students from our partner universities in Finland, France, Great Britain, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Romania and Spain, but also at students from Ukraine. This special framework enables international academic exchange on a current topic of global political relevance.

The interdisciplinary program is open to students of the social sciences, including Political Science, Psychology, Communication Studies, Sociology or Education, as well as other related disciplines.

We would like to thank the many participants and are delighted with all the positive feedback. It was a week full of experiences and events which, thanks to the cooperation of many inquisitive students and excellent lecturers, was an unforgettable experience. It was a pleasure to welcome students from all over Europe to SoWi?So! and we look forward to more academic events in the coming semester.
